Derailment due to vandalism at 14th Street/8th Avenue on 9/20/2020. Lead car 6062 struck center columns resulting in gashes along the side sills. "A" car 6212 was substituted for 6062, leaving mate 6214 in storage and 6062 unlikely to be repaired.

2022年10月26日 · So in the case of the R40, R42, R44 and R46, the front rollsign boxes can be swapped between each other. So while the R46s cannot fit on the J, L, M and Z in the Eastern Division, the readings on the signs for the 46s will still be in place, they just wouldn’t be used.

2022年10月23日 · The original sign was missing just the JFK and A bullets, so using references from the R32 Teleweld side signs, my colleague created the JFK A C H and E bullets for my R46 sign, which will replace the C H and E bullets off the original sign so the shades of blue between the reprint and the original wouldn’t be noticed.
