2022年7月15日 · More than a year user of 5900x, recently started using it undervolted to 1.065v @4.1Ghz, max temp is below 70C in 3d and video rendering. Cinebench r23 results are consistent between 20 and 21k score. It is stable also at 1.15 @4.3Ghz again without going above 75@ under longer loads but decided to keep it more quiet.

2021年10月19日 · Mine stock (no changes) 5900x has 20099 pts on multicore and 1580 on single core. It looks like its swinging from 2.7-4.2ghz occasionally boosting to 4.7/8 ghz. Temp however on multicore at 70-75 under load and 69/70 single core with noctua nh u12s however i have 2 other noctuas blowing air in the system targeting gpu (rx 6900 xt) and cpu.

Yeah, it should be more than fine. The 5000 series CPUs are still really good. The issue with getting the 5900x is that it is more a desktop workload cpu than a gaming cpu; it games slightly better than both the 5800x or 5700x, but not to a degree where it’s worth it. 2022年3月25日 · For the record, my own PBO2/CO settings are fairly close to as good as my sample of the 5900x will do, and those PPT/TDC/EDC are what I arrived at, with scalar 1x and Boost at +150Mhz. I have three cores in the -teens (-12, 14, and -16) and the rest are two at -25, one at -26, one as -27, one at -29, and four at -30.

My intended rig is to be: R9 5900X, Asus Crosshair VIII Formula, Corsair Vengeance Pro 4000Mhz DDR4 C18. The GPU will still be my seasoned GTX 1080, with no hope of changing it for the near future. 2021年1月30日 · If you're going to leave the clocks at stock, there isn't a ton of benefit to running an AIO. 5900x as I recall runs around 70-75c on air give or take, which is well within normal. AIO would probably drop you 8-10c into the 60-65c range, but wouldn't show you any substantial increase in frame rates. Just lower temps.
