RCBS Pro Melt disassembly? - Cast Boolits
2024年11月7日 · I had two pro melts die; it was the switch each time. RCBS doesn't stock it anymore but it's a common switch. On the side with the switch, start by cranking the heat knob all the way to zero. Then loosen the set screw and bull the knob. Now drill out the rivets on that side only. Pry up the side and stick a wedge in there to keep it open.
Rcbs 30-150-sp - Cast Boolits
2024年9月18日 · Yes, that is a carry over from when RCBS bought out Ohaus They call it a Semi Point, vs the more rounded nose of the Lyman Loverin shape The 150 gr mold is part # 82011, while the 180 gr version is part # 82013, both used the RCBS top punch # 520 It took me a few years to find both molds new in the boxes, they are very scarce nowadays
Vintage RCBS Presses - What's the difference between the JR2
2013年10月19日 · The difference is the handle. JR2's had a tendency to break the handle at the thread shoulder. They have a 1/2 inch thread shank. That wa increased to 9/16 and the press renamed JR3. A good many broken JR2's were returned to RCBS for repair and all will have the 9/16 thread shank.
RCBS ChargeMaster Supreme - Long Range Hunting Forum
2001年12月26日 · The RCBS Chargemaster Supreme worked well for us. It is a very good Powder Dispenser and Scale. We have had about over 1/2 dozen electronic scales and Tricklers and finally settled with a Super Trickler and a A&D FZ 120i Scale.
How to tell old RCBS press types apart - Cast Boolits
2015年11月15日 · This is definitely an old thread but I think I can add a bit to it. I have a RCBS Rock Chucker, pale green heavy crinkle surface with a 1978 date on the die hole. It’s missing the primer tool but I came across a RCBS one some time ago. I’ll see if they fit together at a later date. I paid a whopping $5.00 for the press. Pictures attached.
RCBS X die - Cast Boolits
2023年12月14日 · The RCBS X-Die was installed in my Pacific single stage press and adjusted as per the instructions. It’s really quite easy. These dies differ from other FL dies in the dimension and design of the decapping rod. The diameter of the rod is larger and appears to act as a mandrill of sorts.
lee vs rcbs | Sniper's Hide Forum
2009年6月25日 · I also use a Redding body die and eventually went for a Redding competition seater die. This makes excellent ammuntion. To make decent ammunition an RCBS standard seater would be fine. The other thing I bought recently was an RCBS gauge - you don't need one but it helped me work out what worked and what didn't. Is RCBS etc etc better made.
RCBS .44-250-K vs .44-250-KT - Cast Boolits
2022年4月5日 · I have 3 more RCBS two cavity molds: 44-240 SWC, 44-250 SWC, 44-300 SWC. Somehow I acquired all of them in almost unused condition and let them sit for several years. In all there are twelve .44 caliber molds. The lightest is an MP 200 gr and the heaviest is the RCBS 300 gr. I am curious about the 44-245 SWC.
The right dies… - Long Range Hunting Forum
2024年11月13日 · I've ran rcbs/redding/whidden and am now almost exclusively SAC, paired with the decapping mandrels they're not cheap. But save time and are very consistent. I've run the BC micron series too and they're okay, but I hate the lock ring setup on them.
RCBS, the first press - Cast Boolits
2015年2月9日 · RCBS research had determined that most people preferred down stroke operation, but to cater to those who felt the original Pacifc was best the blocks were drilled and tapped to be convertible to up stroke if the owner preferred. The relationship was short lived, RCBS needed more control over quality and Heckner was a bit eccentric.
