RCCB, also known as an RCD (Residual Current Device), is an advanced version of the ELCB with broader detection capabilities. RCCBs work by continuously monitoring the balance between the live and neutral currents. If an imbalance is detected, indicating leakage to earth or through a person, the RCCB rapidly disconnects the circuit.
