Is all hope for a Red Dead 1 remake gone?
I don't think there was ever much hope for a full on remake; a genuine remaster would have been nice but I'm playing the port again and it doesn't look that bad. Red Dead Redemption remake in RDR2 engine?
I had this thought today though: now that they have a new engine for RDR2, would they ever remake the original in the new engine? It wouldn't be the exact same. It would be a proper remake, implementing the story, setting, and characters using the new engine and some of the new mechanics. The audio assets should carry over.
