Rain is one of the most common types of weather in Red Dead Redemption 2. Areas such as Hennigan's Stead and The Heartlands will often see heavy rain showers every few days, some also associated with winds and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms include dynamic lighting which can strike locations close to the player on occasion.

It is only in Lemoyne and only before Archibald tells you that they haven’t seen rain in however long. After that point it will start to rain again in that area

One second the rain will look perfect, being lit by lights only and nearly invisible in darkness. Then randomly it pops like a glitch and all rain becomes full bright. It's like the shader effect to make the rain take lighting from environment breaks and stops working.

2022年5月10日 · During chapter 2, it doesn't rain in Lemoyne for example. I used to reload the game because it rained so much. It also would trigger a hundred year storm if I killed more than three birds.

2020年3月9日 · Happens sometimes at heavy rain. Never saw this in online but weather is a lot more calm in here. Dense white rain? That's called snow! This has already been happening since the console versions, nothing to do about it. Happens in colder parts of the map around Strawberry, Valentine and in the Roanoke Ridge area etc.

2022年2月18日 · Simple fix is to exit and reload. It's almost never raining when you come back after doing that but occasionally you just have to wait it out. I've seen 5 days of rain in a row, and not light rain either. Anyway, after reload rain should be 'normal' for a time.
