The RK 62 (from Finnish rynnäkkökivääri 62, 'assault rifle 62'), officially 7.62 RK 62 and commercially M62, is an assault rifle manufactured by Valmet and Sako. It is the standard issue infantry weapon of the Finnish Defence Forces.

Rk 62 （又名 7.62 RK 62 及 M 62 ；芬兰语：Rynnäkkökivääri 62，意义为“突击步枪62年型”）由芬兰的瓦尔梅特（Valmet）及沙科（Sako）生产，是芬兰国防军（FDF）的制式突击步枪，亦是世界上以AK-47改良而成的步枪中制造水平品质与数量最优最佳的一款型号。

Rk.62采用锻压的钢制机匣是用一块坚硬的钢块通过机器加工而成，锻压机匣的好处是非常坚固和耐用，而缺点则是生产成本较高，而且生产效率较低。瓦梅尔特公司的生产工艺是一流的。

rk-62步枪在1962年定型，rk是芬兰语中突击步枪的缩写，62代表年份。 之前，1960年的RK-60是芬兰军方对于AK-47的完全仿制，早先采用了和原型一样的金属枪托，后来在波兰的特许下生产了桦木枪托。

Finland adopted the 7.62x39mm Valmet RK62 in 1965 with over 300,000 produced by the early 1990s. The RK62 has long been in need of an upgrade with plans for the RK62M first emerging in 2015.
