The RPG-29 "Vampir" is a Soviet reusable rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launcher. Adopted by the Soviet Army in 1989, it was the last RPG to be adopted by the Soviet military before the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. The RPG-29 has since been supplemented by other rocket-propelled systems, such as the RPG-30 and RPG-32.

2021年2月20日 · There is nothing special about the RPG-29 besides perhaps its internet reputation, it's a crude awkward weapon system which is why it's only used by a few countries without particularly well equipped militaries. Russia doesn't actually use it to any meaningful extent despite what you might see on wikipedia.

2024年7月28日 · The RPG-29 uses a tandem-charge high-explosive anti-tank warhead to penetrate explosive reactive armor (ERA) as well as composite armor behind it. It is capable of penetrating MBTs, such as the American M1 Abrams, the older model Mark II version of the Israeli Merkava, the British Challenger 2 and the Russian T-90.

The M-90 and RPG-29 both have a smaller tandem charge in front of the main charge. This tandem charge sets off the reactive armor before the main charge fires allowing the main charge to penetrate freely.
