Nov 10, 2011 · That put the RPU project on hold for about 2 years...2005 and 2006. One thing that did come from the cleanup of my dad's place, was a renewed parts supply. Things that had not seen the light of day for decades...were sorted out were they could be used. One thing that came my way was a 4" Merc crank.

Dec 14, 2020 · Yes, this particular 1934 Ford RPU was one of the last hot rods in Jimmy’s collection. It is all Ford powered, traditional old school build. He also had a 1933 Ford RPU, Chevy drive train that was sold about 16 years ago. Thanks for recognizing and commenting on this post.

Oct 10, 2008 · As for the original question, Fad T and T Bucket generally invoke a style of build for T's. Roadster Pick Ups are usually A's and later and it's just the descriptive name that are accepted by Hot Rod Lore, although a rearely seen T with stock style hood, grille and closer to full size box would certainly be a RPU in my book.

Nov 10, 2015 · I'm tossing around the idea of starting on a 1930/31 Ford RPU build. I've been offered a deal on a cherry cowl and doors as a start. After doing some homework on the HAMB I've found some info on the cosmetic differences in the grille shells but not much more info.

Feb 15, 2019 · Wondering what coil over spring rate you guys with RPU's are running? I'm at the point of having a roller except for rear shock springs. Got a set at swap meet but had 200# rate on springs. Definitely too stiff. '29 rpu,327/350,GM 10 bolt rear. Thanks,Bill
