2013年2月27日 · the rs17yx is the new plug recommended by onan to replace the rs14yc. the electrode on the new plugs are very thin and it is a thin line on the whiteness of the plug between running good and running lean. if it is running lean it will be apparent in the cold weather. it will stumble alot when 1st put under a load if you know what i mean. it will also possibly need choked hard when starting ...

2020年12月16日 · Onan changed over to the Champion RS17YX. Crossed to NGK TR4. Issues with plug fouling caused them to go with a hotter plug. NGK 3754/TR4 is the correct plug for Horse's with P216, P218 & P220 engines. The TR5 is ok if you run your horse under heavy loads all the time. If you run it light, heavy and everything in between, TR4 is the way to go.

2016年8月30日 · Wheel Horse (Toro) originally specified the RC14YC plug. Later they issued a technical bulletin changing that to RS17YX. Many of us think that was to accommodate 10% Ethanol fuel. I've used both plugs, Both work, but the 17 plug seem to work better - smoother operation. Both my 520H's start up and run perfectly on the 17 plug.

2020年4月19日 · When the Champion plugs were made here they were good. Then they went to Mexico...and the quality went downhill. Dropped them and now only have the NGK made in Japan plugs. Much better build quality. The TR4/3754 is the correct cross for the RS17YX plugs. Tapered and long reach for the P series, P216, P218 and P220 etc.

2009年6月30日 · Champion, the OEM plug is "RS17YX" and it works the best. I think that I may have a thread somewhere here, I'll have to look. can't find it, but I can tell you I was not happy with the other plugs. Get a couple of RS17YX and give it a shot, Onan put those in for a reason?
