2024年6月19日 · RSD is sending emails to current LTC Instructors to notify of the new form (LTC-104) that will replace both the LTC-100 & LTC-101. The RSD will accept the current LTC-100 & LTC-101 forms for classes that were completed prior to 1 May 2024. Beginning on 1 May 2024, Instructors must issue only the LTC-104.

The License to Carry a Handgun service allows you to apply for, renew, or check the status of a handgun license or instructor certification online with the Texas Department of Public Safety. There are 3 main components required by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to get your Texas License to Carry. 1. Take the Online LTC Class. The online class is a total of 4 hours, required by Texas DPS, and can be taken at your own pace. You will be issued an LTC-101 certificate immediately upon completion. 2. Proficiency Demonstration.

2024年3月14日 · Back in January I (and I assume all other Instructors) received an email from RSD about the new LTC-104 that would replace the LTC 100 and LTC 101. Their email stated that as of 1 May, 100s and 101s would NOT be accepted.

Once all training has been successfully completed, you may upload the LTC 100 by visiting the RSD Contact Us page. All of our License to Carry ( LTC) instructors are Texas Department of Public Safety certified License To Carry Instructors, National Rifle Association (NRA) Firearms Instructors & NRA Range Safety Officers.
