2016年10月13日 · In this paper, we describe analytical work charactering monazite RW-1, with the aim to evaluate its potential use as a SIMS U–Th–Pb reference material. Our results demonstrate that the new monazite U–Th–Pb reference RW-1 can be used as a working reference for calibration of U–Th–Pb measurement by micro-beam analyses.

Microbeam measurements by electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), SIMS, and LA-MC-ICPMS at 10–24 µm scales have confirmed that it is homogeneous in both elemental and O–Nd isotopic compositions.
