Sections one thousand fifty-eight and one thousand fifty-nine of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended, are further amended to read as follows: “ Sec. 1058.

Section 2 of Republic Act No. 4073, otherwise known as "An Act Further Liberalizing the Treatment of Leprosy by Amending and Repealing Certain Sections of the Revised Administrative Code," is hereby amended to read as follows:

Republic Act No. 4073 liberalizes the treatment of leprosy in the Philippines by allowing individuals with leprosy to be treated in government skin clinics or by licensed physicians instead of being confined in a leprosarium, unless institutional treatment is deemed necessary.
