There are quite a few beaches in and around Rafina to choose from. Centrally located is the Rafina beach, which you will find next to the harbor. It consists mainly of coarse sand and it is split in two by a river that ends up in the sea. South of Rafina is Marikes beach which can be reached in about 20 or 30 minutes walk from the port of Rafina.

Just 5 minutes from the port, on a small hill with an impressive view, is the landmark of Rafina: the picturesque chapel of Saint Nicholas. If you want to swim before or after your trip, head to the beautiful Marikes beach (1.5 km from the port). From there, you also have access to smaller bays for more secluded swims.
