2022年5月27日 · A couple nights ago I left the window next to my PC open and some rain got inside. Rest of the PC components seem to be completely dry but I could see some droplets of water on the inside of the PSU. Since then I've left it to dry outside the case for about 3 days and am wondering whether I should try to plug it back in.

PC was plugged in and switch on the PSU was on but the PC itself was not turned on, so I guess only a small amount of current was active at the time of the flooding.

2021年2月9日 · As long as you turn off the psu with its power switch then you can work safely on the pc. Static wise the frame being metal should earth you as you still have the psu earth present. I would also switch off the cable feeding the psu if possible to be safe.
