2020年4月26日 · The Rand McNally just gives you a list of Buffalos to choose whether you meant New York or Wyoming. You can also choose between North facing map mode and directional facing map mode from the map on the Rand McNally which I liked as I'd select north facing map mode to get my bearings and then switch back to directional facing map.

2023年7月16日 · Rand McNally hands down, I have a Rand TND 740 and a Garmin OTR 700, the Rand totally blows the Garmin away. I see quite a number of drivers that swear by Garmin but I don't see how or why, it's slow as crap figuring routes, seems to always take the longest route possible and is not very user friendly.

2021年5月18日 · The Garmin directiobs are generally better but the Rand McNally has a ton of cool features I use. My RM is 1st generation. My RM is 1st generation. They now come with a new navigation engine, and they have added II to the end of the model name.

It’s another formerly reputable corporation bought out by Wall Street hedge fund goons who only care about getting the profits for themselves, and using it as a tax shelter once it goes under, much like what happened with sears.

2010年12月14日 · I use a PC Miler NAvigator 550 in my personal truck, but have played around with the Rand McNally gps which seem "user friendly." Don;t know about how good they actually work (accuracy, etc.) What are your opinions about these two companies. Does the McNally list low bridges. 2014年2月21日 · The manual for this GPS has only one section that says, "SD Card Slot For future use, as needed." But says nothing else as far as what type of card to buy. You the consumer should NOT have to test Mark, Rand Mcnally don't deserve our business since their too lazy to specify it. This is so typical, they add the slot because it's a great selling ...

2015年12月4日 · For a new[er] driver, the Rand McNally might be a better choice if only because of much more accurate and up-to-date "POI's" (truck stops, parking, etc) Garmin has truck stop data as it existed 5 years ago, and only somewhat accurate at that, they never update new truck stops that are opened monthly and/or change of hands to another brand name.
