2017年5月15日 · to carry. The specs on the Rat 2 are 2.7 oz weight and a 4 inch handle. The blade is a bit longer than the Delica. The D2 steel is better than the vg10 for wear resistance. The Rat 2 is much cheaper than the Delica. I have a Rat 1 with D2 steel and g10 handles, limited edition. Very nice knife. I may have to try the Rat 2 with D2.

2011年4月2日 · D2 works great on the Rat 1, and I know OKC may not want to hear this, but I have the D2 version of the Jeff Randall-designed Avispa and Zancudo. The modified shape and point on those two models, in my opinion, make better use of the D2 steel.

2013年12月21日 · So, when the hype for D2 began, I struggled with whether or not to purchase a Rat in D2. After all, Ontario does a terrific job with AUS-8, and it's also about $15.00 cheaper than the D2 version. Then, there is the issue of corrosion resistance of the D2 steel, which all evidence points to poor corrosion resistance for this steel.

2015年4月25日 · My Rat 2 came in Monday. So far I really like it. I went with the G10 (plastic) side scales and black coated D2 blade. The side scales seem grippy enough and it has steel liners that actually take any side load (twisting, bending, etc). So the plastic is there for grippiness mainly. And this thing is sharp as a razor!

2013年2月21日 · Compared to the Rat 2, the Zancudo flicks open just as good as the Rat 2 in terms of firing power but the Rat 2 does have a better smoothness to it. The detent on the Zancudo is a bit stronger so it s requires a bit more effort to fire the blade. Whether this is a good or bad thing really comes down the preference.
