2022年9月26日 · It depends what you're looking for. RE8 is better for action and speeding through. RE7 is the better survival horror game. I'm more of an action horror person, so RE8 was more to my liking.

2021年5月10日 · After having completed Resident Evil 8 (and RE7 a while ago), one of my first thoughts was whether RE8 was better than RE7. There's no doubt that both of these games are great, but after thinking about it, I reached the conclusion that RE7 was a better game, not because of RE8's flaws, but because of personal preference really.

In the case of RE8 vs. RE7, RE8 is just a much, much better game. But REmake is better than both. So it's not about action vs. horror, that's not what makes the game.

Played from a first-person perspective, each has its definitive strengths and the ability to leave a lasting impression on your mind hours after you complete the narrative. 2021年5月10日 · RE 8 is extremely linear with hardly any survival horror game mechanics in it. Game's fun and the art direction is great but very far from what I'm expecting from a RE. Smells too much like a RE 4 remake for me. RE7 is good, but the boat section ruins it a bit. RE8 is better, also have great horror stage, which RE7 have not. RE8 for me.

2021年1月21日 · RE7 stars a random nobody named Ethan, that seems thrust into a situation way out of his depth. RE8 sees Ethan return this time as a more hardened survivor, solely for having completed the events of RE7. So in turn, the game is a bit more action focused.

2024年4月2日 · Overall, RE8 is a fantastic game, nearing a 10/10, but RE7 was FAR better in pretty much every aspect except enemy design. The first half of RE7 is great but that second half drags down the overall experience as well as the lack of enemy variety.

2021年5月7日 · RE7 took me around 7 hours the first time (not on madhouse though). Currently I have about 7 hours in RE8 on hardcore difficulty. RE8 has a lot more to explore, compared to RE7 (all the treasures and ingredients for cooking) so that takes me more time.
