2024年9月6日 · ReBirth emulates two Roland TB-303 synthesizers and a Roland TR-808 since v1.0, and also a Roland TR-909 drum machine since v2.0. All emulations can be used simultaneously. Each of the emulated devices has its own pattern selector, a feature the original devices are lacking.

So yeah, in a nutshell, ReBirth was a simple program that emulated Roland TB-303 synthesizers and a Roland TR-808 and also a Roland TR-909 drum machine. It kind of was the first Propellerheads "kid". After ReBirth The Props started to develope Reason.

The original Rebirth 303 sounded very close to the real TB303, and I can't hear any major changes, although I could detect subtle differences when running both versions side by side. v2.0 sounds slightly brighter and tighter to my ears. The inclusion of a Shuffle feature for each 303 might surprise TB303 purists but I think it's a nice touch.

ReBirth RB-338 is a software synthesizer for Microsoft Windows, [1] Mac OS 8-9 [2] and iOS for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. [3] It was developed by Propellerhead Software, and its first alpha version (for Mac OS) was publicly released in October 1996. Propellerhead Software ceased developing the original program in January 1999.
