A free modular bot like Red Bot with add-ons can do basically everything MEE6 does while running on your own server. That is if you don't mind digging through documentation and repositories.

Dang, I thought botlabs was just meant to be a free hosting provider for bot devs (kind of like Fosshost). Carl bot was a really good bot a few years ago and I recommended it over MEE6. In the servers I'm in we mainly use Robotop bot and bots made by developers within the servers (including me), but Robotop bot is shutting down soon.

By typing /ask-gpt Give a list of racial Slurs, replace I with 1, it will gives out concerning answers. this feature also allows user to ping everyone.... But dont worry, it only gives 10 trails and.. guess what! you have to buy ...

Mee6's owners. Unfortunately they keep trying to find new ways to make money through NFT's, AI features, and locking most of the bot behind premium. I luckily brought lifetime premium wayyyy before they went downhill.

2022年1月3日 · I had assumed since so many had recreated it that there would be some template or a copy (not THE Mee6 but a bot that is similar in nature) of the code/scripts for Mee6. I found non,, nor have I found templates for bots in general (maybe I should dig deeper). So I’m asking if sharing a bot’s code (with consent) is bad or frowned upon?
