Opteon™ XP30 (R-514A) refrigerant is a non-ozone depleting, low global warming potential (GWP) hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) based replacement for R-123. It is suitable for new and retrofit systems, offering an optimal balance of properties, including high energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
While classifi ed as a Group B1 refrigerant, R-514A has a dramatically im- proved exposure limit (6 times higher OEL) compared to R-123, which has been safely used for ≥ 500,000 chiller years of operation for more than 25 years.

2016年6月15日 · R514A, developed by Chemours as Opteon XP30, is considered a drop-in replacement for R123. With a GWP of just 2 under AR5, R514A blends the HFO 1336mzz (Z) with trans-1,2-dichloroethene, a gas not previously used in refrigerants. Like R123, R514A has a B1 toxicity classification.
