While I love the Aria, I thought that the built in phono preamp on the Yamaha AS2200 I used to own was really good when paired with the Exact MM (MC was not good IMO), different flavor vs. the Aria (Yamaha more detailed and better instrument separation, the Aria more full bodied and punchy).

2024年10月17日 · I use the Rega Aria Mk3 phono with my P8/Apheta 3 and also use a Rega Elicit-R integrated amp. Not everyone likes the Elicit-R as compared with other amps in the range (I have no issues) but Rega have revamped the Elicit to Mk5. The Rega Elex (or Aethos if you can afford it) may be worth considering. If possible, take a listen.

2020年4月14日 · I've been looking at the Aria and competitors recently too as my next upgrade, during my reading I've learned that whilst the Gold Note has a lot of features like different eq curves and such the standout thing for the Aria against others like offerings from the Gold Note, Parasound and Musical Fidelity is the gain, especially if you're planning on sticking to the higher-end Rega MC carts.
