I've listened to both setups and intend to listen again before deciding. It would be playing in the living room of a typical London flat, about 4m by 4m.

2022年8月21日 · Fair enough. The thing is Rega and Naim each have quite distinctive sounds, and you’ll hear that if you can audition, say, a Rotel as a comparison. You may love the Rega, but try something else if you can. At that price level, I’d say don’t bother with Audiolab, but if you can get a Cambridge Edge then they’re pretty awesome.

2025年1月13日 · I have the Naim Nait 50 - cracking little amp. I preferred it to the Naim Nait XS3 and the Supernait 3 (I think the WHF review is nonsense). I think the simple design somehow maximises its hifi qualities, it is punchy focused detailed and musical.

2024年11月21日 · Having your Naim serviced would be the best option for the best sound. When I bought my Naim CD5XS, I compared it against all the Rega and other CD players in the same price range and the Naim was better by a large margin. I have owned both. The CDX2 fronted a 282/250 and the Saturn R an Elicit R so it wasn’t a direct comparison.

2014年11月15日 · Comparing Naim SN2 vs. Rega. Both are helped, but the Naim almost requires a lot more care in setup. If you've got a computer in the same room (as I do) and lesser equipment polluting the mains, the SN2 seems to be more affected by it, while the rega gear is relatively unfazed.

2023年7月10日 · Has anyone compared the top rated Rega Isis with the Naim CDS3. I've had both though not side by side, they were great players, not many other comes close. Actually I went through many Naim CD players included Olive ones, along with Sondek CD 12, ended up with Rega due to the doorstop scenario.
