2005年8月6日 · Rega's early turntables originally came fitted with Acos built tonearms, but in 1983 the first RB (Rega Britain) arm appeared in the shape of the critically acclaimed RB300 and it soon became one of the best selling tonearms in the world.

The RB220 uses our custom one piece, aluminium arm tube, carefully manufactured to optimise performance and reduce stress on the Rega designed ultra low friction polymer bearings (patent pending). Each tonearm is meticulously hand assembled using custom Rega made tools and torque settings to guarantee optimum performance.

The most interesting Rega tweak on audition though is Origin Live’s counterweight modification, which catapults it into super-arm territory. Compared to a standard RB300, the OL/RB300 gains deeper, more extended bass with improved grip.

The RB Titanium achieves near frictionless movement horizontally and vertically whilst having no measurable free play in the bearing assemblies. The RB Titanium uses a new one-piece titanium vertical bearing housing and titanium vertical spindle assembly.

The RB3000 uses improved bearings with each one being hand selected to be an interference fit with the paired spindle matching both the inside and outside diameters. This is a Rega developed method of increasing the amount of detail retrieved from the record surface, designed specifically to maximise performance of the tonearm and cartridge.
