Here is a pretty nice Remington Model 725 in 30-06. The rifle bears serial # 700921. Manufactured 1958-1961 Remington made 7657 rifles in this caliber. The rifle has a 22-inch barrel and the bore is bright with no issues. Receiver is drilled and tapped for scope base as well as two screws on the left-hand side for receiver mounted peep style sight.

2017年2月9日 · Remington made the 725 between 1957 and 1962 when the 721/722/725 series was superseded by the 700 ADL and BDL. According to John F. Lacy's book, there were fewer than 1,000 Remington 725s made in 243 between 1960 and 1962, so if you find one, you'd better buy it. I have a 725 in 244 and think that it is a nice rifle.

2020年8月18日 · The 725 has a M1917/30S type safety and not the later 700-type, so I don't think there were problems with it. AFAIK, this model did have a floorplate release button; not sure if all of them were so equipped (i.e. early ones might not have). The action screws are certainly replacements, and one has to ask oneself why. Is the stock original?
