2011年1月31日 · About a year ago, I bought about 500 rounds of Fiocchi (G.F.L. headstamped) .223 ammo and I finally got around to shooting it about a month ago. So, yesterday I tumbled, deprimed and resized some of it. When I went to reprime it, the primers would not seat. So I think that the primer pockets are crimped and I get out the primer pocket tools.

2015年10月25日 · IME PPU brass weighs about 98 to 99gr and PMC brass weighs about 96gr. The PPU has the occasional piece at 101 or so. I've read that 1gr of brass weight normally is pretty close to an increase of .1gr of powder in .223 loads. That's pretty close to what I have read which is brass to typical rifle powder has a weight ratio of 8 to 1.

2013年1月23日 · GFL is Fiocci. I've used it a bunch and its good. Mine wasn't "crimped" per se, but it still needed to be swaged to nice take a primer.

2020年3月30日 · My understanding from some googling last night is that the G.F.L. is from the normal FMJ 55gr rounds, the GFL is from the Extrema V-MAX 50gr rounds. Anybody have any insight? Would the smart move be too weigh a sample of each headstamp and see if the average weight is significantly different?

This item consists of previously fired GFL commercial brass casings in the .223 Remington caliber that is sourced from both local private and law enforcement ranges. This brass is deprimed, washed and dried. Each brass casing is then individually sorted and inspected by hand to remove any unservicable casings.
