2021年3月15日 · I have a MG7 308, Res K, and R9. I think I would recommend the MG7 above the YHM cans. The slightly longer length/width on my MG7 provides for noticeably better suppressions. It isn't a dramatic difference, but it is enough to notice. The increase in performance is worth the 1.3 oz weight gain (according to my scale).

2020年11月20日 · Agreed, that’s partly why I bought all 3: Res K (in hand), R9 (pending), Rex MG7 .358 (pending). I already have a normal 9mm can and full size 30cal, so I bought these 3 for my different 8.5-10.5 300BLK and 9mm carbines (Scorpion SBR & future MP5K clone).

2023年4月27日 · The Rex MG7 is a fantastic, inexpensive option. You could get it for now, bounce it around some, and then dedicate it to a host down the road as you acquire more cans. I don't think you would be disappointed with it. Alternatively, look at the YHM R9 or their new R45 for a similar price pointed competitor.

2022年11月10日 · I have a custom 8 baffle from Rex and it’s fantastic, it’s home right now is on a pws mk111 sitting on a full auto lower, with the piston upper the sound is fantastic. I had it on an overgassed DI gun before and that led to a lot of gas back to the face. I would recommend!

2020年6月22日 · The Rex mg7 is rifle can that you can shoot 9mm though if you get the .358 version. The r9 is somewhere in between. Sub gun can that you can shoot some rifle though.

2022年2月15日 · My vote goes with xeno. That's what I have on my mg7 224. Its shared between a 16" and 10.3" ar. Its never come loose. In fact, it's been a pain in the ass to get off at times (me tightening it too much). I plan to xeno my other mg7 308. I just need to stop buying cans.

2020年6月2日 · I have the mg7 358 in jail, shot with it a few times. It's hard to get an idea of its sound when at an indoor range, but otherwise I am pretty pleased. The suppressor itself is very affordable but I quickly spent a ton of money on QD mounts, muzzle devices, tri-lug, booster, etc.

Not the greatest sounding on 300 BO because Rex overbores their cans. Strangely it's the gassiest suppressor I own. Where it shines is having no barrel restriction, short, and is relatively light. Rex also has quick warranty turnaround.
