I had my Rezum procedure done on Monday afternoon and it is now Wednesday. I had Nitrous Oxide and that was trippy but that is another story. Overall I found the pain and discomfort of the procedure manageable between the NO and the local. My prostate was about 50 grams and I received 6 steam injections.

I had the Rezum procedure 7 weeks ago today: 3 injections left, 3 injections right, and 1 injection in cental lobe. My uriniation stream (if you can call it that, it was pretty poor) got back to pre-Rezum levels in about two weeks.

I guess I can understand that being that it involves a lot of personal intimacy with your wife or girl friend. Sure, I can see the "emotional" component to the prostate.

2019年10月31日 · Michael Rezum (and other fellow sufferers here)... I have had BPH since around age 40. I was always a prolific fluid consumer and still am. Not at all unusual for me to consume 6 fluid quarts daily -- 8 in the summer. Juices (non-citrus), skim milk. Plenty of skim milk for sure. And like you Michael, I pee multiple times per night.

I was getting up 3 times each night and had to go straight to a toilet whenever I stood up from sitting. Accidents started to happen and that finalized my decision.

After extensive research I chose Rezum, which I discussed with 3 different Urologists, chose the one I am most comfortable with. At this stage my Max flow was 3.9 (horrible, normal people are between 15 and 20) My prostate size was measured at 45cc and 55cc by 2 different radiologists, so I will assume a 50 cc prostate with a small median lobe.

2019年8月2日 · I had a rezum back in June and had a catheter for 3 1/2 weeks then began self cathing but now at week 7 post rezum things are flowing. My prostate was 82g and I was given 4 (9 second shots). I'd definitely get another Urologist, even if only for the comfort of another perspective. I wonder if the Uri hit your sphincter muscle by mistake.
