We are delighted to share that RGPS is celebrating 65 years as a primary school. Our theme for this joyous occasion is “Glowing Memories, Growing Together”. At RGPS, we take immense pride in our unity as one RGPS community, cherishing each moment as we strive forth together facing challenges with unwavering strength and dedication.

Raffles Girls’ Primary School was established by the trustees of Raffles Institution on 4 March 1844 at Bras Basah Road. The school started as a centre for moral development and vocational training for girls. In 1847, the school separated from Raffles Institution.

School Crest and Motto. The colours of the school crest are the standard colours of the House of Sir Stamford Raffles: Green, White and Black. The open book symbolises knowledge and the burning torch our commitment to forge character and develop life skills.
