HELLMARI is a mysterious character and NPC in OMORI. She is a demonic-looking version of MARI, which symbolizes how SUNNY remembers and thinks MARI is that OMORI and SUNNY frequently encounter throughout the game. There are three versions of HELLMARI that appear in different locations throughout OMORI.

2022年11月4日 · HellMari is the second half of Sunny’s conscience (The first being Stranger). HellMari represents Sunny’s guilt over killing his sister. Mari’s demonization is both a product of his conscience acting against him and a coping mechanism by Sunny to repress Mari’s unconditional love and forgiveness, as Sunny is unwilling to forgive himself.

2022年3月26日 · The Ghost Mari theory is one of my favourite theories about this game, because it's really sweet to think about the fact that Mari acts as a sort of guardian angel for Sunny, and it's also very interesting, because there's a lot of evidence that suggests it is actually true.
