The Regulation concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID) forms Appendix C to COTIF, and has an annex. This Regulation applies to international traffic. Directive 2008/68/EC transposes RID into the EU’s internal law, including for national transport.

2025年1月19日 · The new RID will enter into force on 1 January 2025 and will replace the 2023 edition. However, under a general transitional measure, the provisions of the 2023 edition can still be applied until 30 June 2025. RID applies to the international carriage of dangerous goods by rail between its 45 States Parties in Europe, Asia and North Africa.
