Rocky Johnson (born Wayde Douglas Bowles, August 24, 1944 – January 15, 2020) was a Canadian professional wrestler. [1] Among many National Wrestling Alliance titles, he was the first Black NWA Georgia Heavyweight Champion as well as the NWA Television Champion ( 2 times ).

Rocky Johnson was a Canadian former professional wrestler. While some know him as a great superstar in WWE history, others know him as the son-in-law of the famous High Chief Peter Maivia, and still others acknowledge him as the father of the Rock Dwayne Johnson.
