2019年8月23日 · Our last piece is an Oyster Perpetual, but an oversized example which corresponds with the reference number 1013. Unlike most other standard Oyster Perpetual references, the 1013 is set apart from the pack thanks to its 36 mm case, which to the best of my knowledge was produced solely in precious metals.

Beautiful round vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual 1013 in 18K yellow gold. The watch has a champagne sunburst dial with gold batons marking each hour. On the dial at 6 o’clock comes “Superlative chronometer – Officially certified” and T Swiss T. The hands are in gold with baton shape. The watch comes with a fluted bezel.

The Rolex Oyster-Perpetual Ref. 1013 is a rare and sought after reference. The most interesting draw of this reference is its unexpected 36mm case. Considered "oversized" for the Oyster-Perpetual reference range as the majority of this model is 34mm.

The reference 1013 is a rare and oversized Oyster Perpetual model which measures 36mm (43mm lug-to-lug) and is the gold offering alongside the Oyster Perpetual reference 1018. The reference 1013 and 1018s were models that were not mass-produced and it is very exciting to get them in our inventory.
