Roy H. Doi was a distinguished professor emeritus of molecular and cellular biology who advanced the understanding of the mechanisms that control bacterial gene expression. Dr. Doi worked for over 40 years at the Molecular and Cellular Biology Department at the University of California, Davis.
Magnetic Order and Symmetry in the 2D Semiconductor CrSBr
2021年4月15日 · We identify magnetic dipole and magnetic toroidal moments as order parameters of the ferromagnetic monolayer and antiferromagnetic bilayer, respectively.

Layered Antiferromagnetism Induces Large Negative Magnetoresistance …
2020年8月9日 · Here the magnetic and electronic properties of CrSBr are reported, an air-stable vdW antiferromagnetic semiconductor that readily cleaves perpendicular to the stacking axis.
Spin Waves and Magnetic Exchange Hamiltonian in CrSBr
2022年7月7日 · In this study, we measure the static magnetic structure and the high energy magnon dispersions, experimentally determine the spin exchange Hamiltonian using inelastic neutron scattering, and then use this Hamiltonian to predict the presence of chiral edge modes in layered heterostructures.

Changes in leaf phenology of three European oak species in …
DOI: 10.1111/j.1469-8137.2010.03252.x Abstract *Because the phenology of trees is strongly driven by environmental factors such as temperature, climate change has already altered the vegetative and reproductive phenology of many species, especially in the temperate zone.
Enabling Fast Na+ Transfer Kinetics in the Whole-Voltage
It is unveiled that the Na + adsorption energy (E a ) and diffusion barrier (E b ) are in a positive and negative linear relationship with the carbon p-band center, respectively, and balance of E a and E b is critical in enhancing the charge-storage kinetics.
