How to use RTSS to display fps counter? : r/nvidia - Reddit
2016年5月19日 · You need to configure Afterburner in its settings, there's a tab that says OSD (On-Screen Display) and a little check mark for FPS that is disabled by default. Click on it to disable it and set the Toggle OSD to some key so you can turn it on and off.
[Guide] How to use RTSS's Scanline Sync to reduce stuttering
2019年9月3日 · Limiting the fps via RTSS and enabling Fast Sync was my go-to solution before the implementation of Scanline Sync improved considerably (which only happened in the last few months). You should definitely try it for Stardew. Just make sure to disable all forms of Vsync, unless you'd like to try Scanline Sync with Fast Sync/Enhanced Sync.
In 2023, is it better to cap FPS via NVCP or to cap it in Rivatuner?
EDIT: Ive now tried both FPS limiters and analysed their performance using RTSS frametime graph, strangely in modern warfare II NVCP's fps cap seemed to have lots of microflucuations in the frametimes, whereas RTSS fps cap was a constant 11.1ms (a perfect 90Hz). However, there was not a huge difference in the feeling of the game.
Using RTSS to normalize frametime for smoother gameplay
2015年5月29日 · What RTSS does is normalize the time between drawing two consecutive frames, so if you're playing at 60 FPS that 60 frames is evenly distributed over time. This will not increase your framerate, and in fact should be set to limit your framerate to slightly lower than what you can actually achieve. What it will do is significantly improve how ...
Comprehensive benchmarking of NVIDIA's FPS limiters (V1, V2
2020年3月1日 · RTSS FPS Limiter Note The RTSS limiter was very good in terms of frametimes stability in all scenarios, and showed a very consistent behaviour and the best accuracy when capping FPS. Approximate and expected input-lag-wise, and on DX11 and DX12 scenarios, it was almost on par with in-engine limiters and significantly better than the NV v2 limiter.
Your game stutters a lot? Try RTSS to get perfectly stable ... - Reddit
2019年4月27日 · Pay attention to the FPS counter in the bottom left to find your minimum FPS. For me in a clusterfuck like Eisa with 300+ players it was 85 FPS. You should adjust the graphic settings (turn off shadows, lower render quality, etc.) until you think it is on an acceptable level in regards to performance and graphic qualities (like 60 FPS at minimum).
RTSS + Hotkey Mapping = Good FPS limiter : r/ROGAlly - Reddit
2023年7月5日 · And there you go. Just make sure RTSS is running and launch a game. Now with the rear m1/m2 buttons I can adjust the frame rate by 1 frame up and down. Been using 40 and 50 quite a bit and works great. Wish the Armoury crate fps limiter was better, but RTSS working great for the time being. You can make game specific profiles as well.
RTSS ( RivaTuner ) Cause Stutter Using ScanlineSync - Huge Fps
2020年11月4日 · There is no point in using rtss scanlinesync when you have a gsync monitor. Do this: Enable Gsync Open RTSS and lock your fps below your monitor refresh rate (I'd suggest locking them at 160) Turn vsync on on your nvcp for apex, or turn on the ingame one. This will give you a smooth, low input lag and no tearing experience.
AMD's Chill vs. RTSS & In-Engine Limiters / Input Lag Test : r/Amd
2020年1月30日 · This sounds pretty great. Back when FRTC was a thing, I remember it adding noticeable input lag when you used Chill this way. Guess now we know that Chill can be a great per-game fps limiter that you can modify mid-game too. Also, it likely won't break some games like RTSS does (CSGO and Planetside 2 won't open if RTSS is open for me).
Is it better to use NCP or RTSS frame limiter? : r/nvidia - Reddit
2020年2月14日 · If your system capabilities start bumping into the limit due to the use of the RTSS framerate limiter (overlay isn't required to work) I'd say the issue is on your end then. RTSS is a CPU-level FPS limiter that works even reducing or limiting the CPU usage. Therefore, it can help in CPU bound or limited game scenarios.
