The Royal Ulster Constabulary Band was the public duties branch of the Royal Ulster Constabulary of Northern Ireland. It was formed in 1905 under District Inspector George C. Ferguson as the Band of the Royal Irish Constabulary.

The prolific RSPBA adjudicator Denver Cardwell died unexpectedly on November 26, 2014, at the age of 71. A native of Northern Ireland and a resident of Portadown, Cardwell was a member of the now defunct Royal Ulster Constabulary Pipe Band in the 19070s and early-’80s.
