The RUF RTurbo is a high-performance sports car based on the Porsche 911 996 generation. Introduced in 2001, it was offered as a coupe or cabriolet, and with two body-style options: widebody Turbo or narrow body Carrera shell.

2024年3月30日 · Based on the contemporary 996, the Rturbo was introduced by RUF in 2001. This narrow-body example is finished in Polar Silver Metallic and wears a RUF front lip spoiler, power-retractable rear wing, quarter panel scoops, rocker extensions, and side mirrors.

The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was upgraded by RUF with KKK turbochargers, GT3-sourced engine mounts, a remapped ECU, and a revised VarioCam variable valve timing setup. The Rturbo was available in 520, 550 and 590 horsepower variants, and this 590 horsepower example was fitted with a Protomotive intercooler in 2022.

With an output of 550 BHP (405 KW) @ 5,500 RPM the 6 Cylinder RUF Twin-Turbocharged, Manual, 6 Speed powertrain delivers outstanding performance with every day drivability. The Turbo R delivers a 0-60 MPH time of 3.6 Seconds and a Top Speed of 206 MPH.
