My 9mm Compact has been a joy to shoot and has been dead on accurate through every time it is shot. My only 45 at this time is an SR1911 Commander model, which works without a hitch.

2016年9月30日 · One more thing: all three holsters I own for my full size Ruger American accept the compact perfectly. While two of them are slightly longer than strictly necessary for the barrel/slide, they still work perfectly. The Crossbreed Supertuck is perfect for both pistols but as an IWB, the American Compact is much more easily concealed.

2017年5月15日 · RUGER American compact. I have read the the foregoing re recoil spring issues with the RAPc. i bought a new RAP compact a few months ago in 9mm. It had numerous issues with the stock recoild spring. The pistol has been back to RUGER twice. And, they also sent me two other OEM recoil spring assemblies.

2017年1月27日 · Wanted to get a red dot laser for my 9mm American but didn't want anything too bulky or expensive if I did not like using it. Found a "universal" Crimson Trace model CMR-201. Their site did not say it would work with the American but it did list the Ruger SR22 and since I own both if it would not work on the American I could put it on the 22.
