2019年1月30日 · Just picked up this P89M, from what I understand they are pretty rare. I thought I would share it with any P-series fans. Called Ruger and they said the Hogue grip came from the factory and has Ruger logo on it. I also notice it has Trijicon sights that are not branded.

2024年12月1日 · Good luck getting your hands on a Ruger P89M. This ultra-rare gun variant has a production run of less than 800 guns. The Chicago PD adopted the vast majority. The P-Series was quite a success for Ruger. They produced a ton of these guns, and their low price, high reliability, and good all-around performance made them great guns for police forces.

2000年12月26日 · The P89M I bought years ago had a dark black slide, and the barrel left bright. It lettered as a "KP-89MW", was shipped by Ruger to a small town near Chicago in 1995, and was sold to me from that same area. You don't see these pop up for sale very often! If I had some "fun money" available, I would definitely be bidding!

2010年1月12日 · I believe, as memory serves me, that the "P89M" designation was exclusively for the Chicago Police, in an effort (presumably successful) to have those choosing the pistol to believe that they were getting a full-size service weapon, as opposed to the actuality of the gun being a P93 compact.

2019年10月10日 · Try a google search and see if you can find one and then if you actually do the condition it is in. The P89P is even more rare. It is worth around $2800 to $3200 depending on the condition. Very interesting history about it as well. If you look it is the same as a P95DAO but again with a different roll stamp.
