2020年5月2日 · Beehaw is a Western trope in RWBY fandom. During the first weeks of the hiatus between volume 6 and 7, the Bumbleby fandom on Tumblr moved on from theorizing about Team RWBY's arrival at Atlas and instead theorized about Vacuo.

2020年5月22日 · Then a bright shining beacon on tumblr (I don't remember the first persom initially responsible and it would take a lot of digging to find it) said fuck all this sadness, BEEHAW. Then within a day we had tiny beehaw fics, edits of cowboy hats on Yang, shortly after cowboy Yang and Buccaneer Blake, etc. etc.

2023年3月28日 · Blake/Yang, also known as Bumbleby, is a RWBY femslash pairing involving Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long. While popular from the start, canon basis for the relationship led it to grow to the most popular ship in the fandom. The ship went canon in March 2023. Blake and Yang are teammates in Team RWBY and partners.

Bonus: Blake is being drawn as a barmaid (western to match) or a pirate (because people wanted a different theme for Blake).
