Our clinical/developmental research assesses youth strengths and positive outcomes along with mood psychopathology, bridging psychopathology, developmental psychology and positive psychology paradigms. Through our various research projects and initiatives, we aim to make a significant contribution to promoting positive mental health for all youth.

Ryan is interested in using community-based research methods to examine the application of positive clinical psychology within school contexts. Specifically, he would like to develop and evaluate school-based mental health promotion programs.

Strengths to Grow Positive Parenting Programs: The Strengths to Grow research study aims to develop and evaluate a brief online program that parents can use to identify and promote their child (ren)’s unique strengths. We hope to show that these programs are an accessible and engaging way to promote family well-being.

2011年4月30日 · RYRG is a product of red yeast rice (Monascus pilosus) grown in medium containing garlic for 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks. The total phenolic and total flavonoid contents of RYRG extracts were increasing with the length of culture periods. The DPPH free radical scavenging activity of RYRG extracts also increased with culture time.
