Rythm is the second music bot on Discord that has been shut down to a legal notice from Youtube, the first one being Groovy. 2024年10月11日 · Rythm is intended for listening to music with multiple people, so of course a dedicated music service would be better if you’re listening alone. They are actually licensing music now which is why song selection is premium only.

2021年5月4日 · Rythm's developers are reputable and are people I personally trust. In addition, bots cannot access your IP, and any allowances that a bot is given has to be authorized by the user who adds the bot to a server. The lag is caused by the stress of loading a video or a stream on a bot on 17 million servers.

Potentially the same fate, especially since Rythm is the biggest bot on Discord right now (about 3 million servers more than Groovy has). Watch out for an announcement from them and all other music bots over the next few days or weeks. The C&D doesn't neccessairly mean the death for a music bot, since they could opt to choose other platforms.

2021年1月24日 · Ive made my first Discord server for me and my friends on Discord Mobile. I’ve added Rythm Bot and whenever a song plays it sounds awful. It’s as if someone has overly compressed the sound, then added a terrible limiter, then added a messy EQ setting and then just for fun added a stock reverb. I’ve tried adjusting the bitrate.

2021年8月25日 · Based on the reasons behind the Groovy shutdown, my guess is that Rythm getting a cease-and-desist notice isn’t too far behind. Which sucks, Rythm would’ve been my suggestion but AFAIK they both operate similarly; even if you’re using playlists from Spotify, it’s actually playing audio from YouTube.

2021年11月22日 · Additionally, the bot will provide each member of your server with a customized Spotify playlist tailored to that individual's weekly usage of the bot with the "-discover" command. Like a song, but not sure what to listen to next? Use the "-spice" command to add songs in the queue that are similar to the current song playing.
