2017年3月4日 · Possibly a Ruger in 327 federal may work for you. They say the 327 is close to the 357 mag and you can also shoot 32 h&r mags, 32 s&w long , and 32 s&w short. With four different cartridges available to shoot you should be able to find a pleasant plinking round and a self defence round. Ruger makes several models both double and single action.

2006年4月15日 · For what it's worth, Four Seasons sells a Federal +P+ .38 Special that's about 3/4 the power of the .357 Magnum that is quite comfortable to shoot. Also, M&M reloads out of NH has a reloaded .357 Magnum 158 gr. FMJ that's inexpensive for practice, doesn't kick as bad as factory loads, and doesn't leave the cylinder garf of a .38 special.

2020年1月8日 · My 340PD shoots accurately (but high, as expected) with 38's. Roughly 2" groups at 10 yards. As a self defense revolver, lawyers have recommended using factory loaded ammunition. This way if something does go down, I'm not using 'special, home-made bullets'. With my chosen 125g Hornady Critical Defense 357's I am getting poor accuracy.

2023年7月16日 · I took the S&W 340PD to the local range today for my weekly practice session and ran about 25 rounds thru it, Winchester w/b 38 SPL+P 125 Grain (5 rounds), Hornady 110 FTX 38SPL (5 rounds), Winchester w/b 38 SPL 130 Grain Target (5 rounds) , PMC 135 Grain 38 SPL (5 rounds) and my carry ammo Hornady 120 FTX 38 SPL+P.

2014年6月18日 · Yesterday I bought a 340pd without the ILS nib at a LGS. I was looking on GB & found 2 without ILS & both in my state of Michigan so I bought the one that was close to me & $250 cheaper. My question is these are not on S&W's website. Could they be mistakesbut mine is marked 340pd on the frame.
