Now that I'm back living in the country and can shoot whenever I wish, I've owned and shot and studied mostly Ruger and Browning .22 pistols. Lately, though, the S&W 622 has been calling to me again.

2009年6月7日 · The 622 is a stainless/Aluminum version of the 422 blue steel / aluminum semi auto pistol. I have had a 422 since they first came out in 1987. It is my most used 22 S&W pistol. The 622 came out in 1989 and gave stainless steel and plated aluminum duability over the blue and blackened Aluminum. I finally bought a 622 a couple years ago.

2013年3月25日 · The frames on the 422/622 pistols are alloy, the slides are steel and stainless steel. The 622 stainless slide may weigh a bit more than the 422 steel slide I doubt more than two ounces. The 2206 model was all stainless and considerably heavier.

2010年10月17日 · Just purchased a Model 622 5". Absolutly love the gun. Mine has the plastic wood grain grips & I have seen models with Rubber Grips. Any info on where to get these or any other accessories would be great... New to the target .22 class.but loving it :)

2019年10月13日 · In short since you are a self disclosed S&W fan boy, I'd recommend you consider saving up and getting an S&W Model 41. By once and you'll save money over buying something you don't like and eventually getting something you do. ----Alternatively, consider shopping around and getting a High Standard Victor.
