During the fall and spring semesters, the Math Commons (KO 050) and Math Computer Lab (KO 054) are open when classes are in session from the first day of classes through the last day of finals week. Free tutoring is available in the Math Commons (KO-050) located on the lower level of the Main Building.

As well as the services provided in the Math Commons (KO 050), students taking SSCI-S100, M104, or M105 may receive additional help across the hall in the Math Computer Lab (KO 054). The lab is equipped with 24 computers for students to do their online math homework in a quiet and focused environment.

In 2005, the IUK resident sociology faculty agreed the program assessment focus for the 2006-2007 academic year would be on Goal #5 (which relates to students’ ability to articulate basic concepts in sociology) as demonstrated in SOC S100 Introduction to Sociology.

To graduate with the BAS, you must complete a total of 120 credit hours. You may apply 60 to 64 credit hours from your AAS to Indiana University. You then complete 56-60 credit hours of courses from IU, with at least 30 credit hours at the 300- and 400-level. Students must take one course for each learning outcome (6 courses/18 credit hours total).
