Even with a decompressed turbo setup at 9.0:1 without any turbo you will have one angry street engine, and with 0.6 bar of boost we are talking 600-ish hp depending on turbo. A fully build S54 can be a daily 300-400hp cruiser and a 1300hp mean dragrace-esq engine with full drivability on the street.

2013年3月20日 · As an S54 swap owner, turboing is expensive, but HP potential is much higher. S54 are very durable with thick rods, cast iron block, and amazing flowing head. Compared to a S50/S52, it loves to rev. Turboing it would make it a work of art! Goodluck

Here's what I'm thinking for a 'low budged' build for the first go round. I'm really curious to see what you guys have to say on the turbo. 2019年8月6日 · I’ve found lots of single turbo S54 builds but not any twin turbo, especially the N54 based turbos. From what I can gather researching, the N54 has a shorter stroke and longer rod length, surprisingly considering the S54 is a high revving engine.
