2024年6月9日 · A search revealed similar symptoms on another 2002 Vitara five years ago reported by SAS. He found that the EVAP valve had failed and replacing it cured the problem. I thought that it would be worth checking but have been unable to find a hose to the intake manifold to trace the location of the valve.

2011年4月24日 · Hi, I got tired of my vitara breaking endless front diffs, and i also wanted bigger tires so... let the pictures speak. Im about half way done with the front end... i hope to finish this project before the summer ends. And the car will need to be road legal and have neat enough driving characteristics to use as a daily driver like before.

2019年5月8日 · The Crank Angle Sensor on the Gen2 V-6 Vitara (for one instance) is only for misfire detection and doesn’t control the timing of the spark. The latter is a function of the Cam Position Sensor. Tell us what you are driving, the problem / symptoms, all codes that you have and what you have accomplished thus far with regards to repairs.

2021年5月10日 · The SZ5 wheel was stripped down to it's skeleton, as was the SZ-T wheel, and the original SZ-T switches and blanked out side fitted to the SZ5 wheel. No problems, everything works as it should. However I have been told that I should have the steering angle sensor (SAS) checked and reset if needed.

2016年5月13日 · Being a Fabricator / Painter / Machinist myself and additionally having conducted conversions from 6 banger, standard trans, torque tube drive-train to a V-8, auto trans conventional axle vehicle (my '53 Chevy truck) and knowing all of the hurdles involved, I would still highly recommend starting with a platform as near to the finished objective.

2020年2月3日 · So this is going to be somewhat of a write up of converting a 2000 4dr 2wd tracker to a 4x4. I came across a steal on a 2wd auto. My buddy has the same year tracker identical to mine( same color and all minus the pw pdl) that he is almost finished with a SAS so I have all his factory 4x4 parts minus trans/tcase.
