2019年12月14日 · Both are great subs. The SB-3000 is smaller and has a much more sophisticated amplifier, but it has an uphill battle in matching the headroom of the ULS-15 due to the smaller driver. If you are worried about the ULS-15 mk2 being discontinued, you don't need to be. The fundamental design is so good that it isn't going anywhere soon.

Still, I found the SB-2000 Pro to be ample for music listening in my room, as there is a room mode that boosts the response about 6dB at 30Hz. For movies with LFE below 25Hz, though, the SB-3000 proved more useful.

2023年8月20日 · I am hoping that dual SB-3000 would be a meaningful upgrade. I'm mainly hoping to get flatter response via multi-sub, but a few more dB of headroom would be a welcome bonus. Given the SB-3000's much better specs (10" --> 13"; 300w --> 800w; 2010 Gallo --> 2023 SVS), is this a reasonable expectation?

2024年8月21日 · Comparing the difference in cost to the difference in performance, I think that the overall advantage is clearly with the more sensitive driver of the SB-3000. The following tables will illustrate what I mean by that. The SB-4000 has very little advantage in the low-bass and the SB-3000 has much more advantage in the mid-bass.

2023年11月26日 · I am considering the following: SVS SB-3000, SVS PB-3000, Klipsch RP-1600SW. Also considered REL T/9X and JL Audio D110 (not sure will be enough low end). Heard great things about 1600SW but a bit skeptical because it’s new. I like the DSP from SVS to add to mini-DSP calibration process.

2020年8月29日 · Quick question all. The user manual doesn't seem to explain this well anywhere? There are many power modes, amber lights, blue lights. On, Auto, Standby, etc. for the SB-3000. I want the subwoofer to come on automatically when it detects a signal, but I don't want it to be on all the time...
