2021年4月4日 · Die beiden EW I-Gefängniswagen (auch als «Jail-Train» bekannt) bleiben ebenfalls erhalten. SBB Historic hat einige Wagen in die Sammlung aufgenommen; weitere sind im Inventar der Stiftung BLS und bei privaten Vereinen. Jeder Wagenkasten wird dafür fachgerecht unter Einhaltung der Umwelt- und Sicherheitsstandards saniert.

Am 2. April 2021 endet bei den SBB der planmässige Einsatz einer Wagenflotte aus einer vergangenen Epoche. Kaum einem Passagier sind die «Einheitswagen Eins» (EW I) unbekannt, prägten diese doch jahrelang die Bahnlandschaft in der Schweiz.

2019年12月4日 · I decided to compare the new Roco SBB EW II coaches with some of my older models from Roco (EW II), Lima, Hag and the new Piko (EW I). The new and old coaches all come with the classic SBB + CFF/SBB + FFS markings (post 1965 with UIC numbering). The revision dates on the new models are from 1969.

I know about the modified EWI ABt and EWII BDt. I am looking for more specific information on the coaches rebuilt from former Dt/DZt EWI/EWII. I know that BLS was operating at least one in the original configuration (green/red front).
