2011年7月19日 · Like i said i'm currently building an SBR i have the upper which i have finished building but the lower is with a registered gunsmith/dealer who will be helping me prepare the paperwork and will keeping possession of the lower until the stamp is ready.

2023年1月30日 · This is really no different than making a SBR out of a pistol or Title 1 rifle. With each, you can not assemble/make the SBR until you have received your approved Form 1 back from the ATF with tax stamp. Examples: If you want to turn a pistol into a SBR, you can NOT install any type of stock until after you get your approved Form 1 back.

2013年7月20日 · The suppressor stamp is separate from the SBR stamp, and the SBR stamp is for the lower receiver not the barrel. The upper itself will require only one stamp (for the suppressor), but if you wish to attach it to a stock-equipped lower, that lower will need to be a registered SBR (second stamp). If I understand correctly, he can’t even transfer the lower as an SBR to himself without paying for a new stamp. Then, once he notifies ATF he can be in possession of the lower. Fill out the form, send two copies, a copy of your trust and a check or Postal M/O to the address provided. Wait for the stamp to arrive at your house and build your SBR.

2010年4月28日 · Im sure this has been answered before but I cant find it on a search or in the archives. Im a police officer interested in a suppressor for my 10.5. What is the rule with tax stamps? The same? I own my SBR and would like to own the suppressor as well. I dont mind paying the tax if thats whats is necessary as thats what I did with my SBR.
